SB 2306: Children In Detention/Infectious Disease Testing [SPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Wilson

Children In Detention/Infectious Disease Testing [SPCC]; requires each juvenile assessment center or juvenile detention facility to have written procedure re testing of juveniles for infectious diseases; requires DJJ to designate certain counties, if approved by county's governing body, to participate in program to test each juvenile for HIV who is referred to or who is under supervision of DJJ; provides that informed consent is not required for HIV test, etc. Creates 985.1351; amends 381.004.
