PROPOSED BILL by Governmental Operations
Administrative Procedure Act; requires that state provide prior notice if it intends to offer certain evidence in administrative hearing; amends provision re hearings involving disputed issues of material fact; provides for Appeal Hearings Office within DCFS rather than administrative law judge to conduct certain hearings re benefits provided under state public assistance programs; requires that APD adopt rules establishing guidelines for admin. hearings, etc. Amends FS.
