SB 1108: Delinquent Property Taxes [RPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Deutch

Delinquent Property Taxes [RPCC]; Allows tax collectors to contract with a private attorney or law firm to conduct legal proceedings relating to delinquent personal property taxes and to collect, by suit or otherwise, such delinquent taxes. Provides for negotiation of compensation to said attorneys or law firms by the tax collector, but such compensation may not be less than 20 percent of the amount of the delinquent taxes and interest collected, etc.
