CS/SB 1370: Florida Patient Safety Corporation [SPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Health Regulation ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Jones ; Lynn

Florida Patient Safety Corporation [SPCC]; Authorizes a representative appointed by the Florida Council of Medical School Deans to serve on the board of directors of the corporation. Authorizes the corporation to create and dissolve advisory committees upon a majority vote of the board of directors. Requires the AHCA to make available adverse incident reports to designated agents of the corporation. Requires the corporation to encourage the use of evidence-based medicine, etc.
