SB 2242: Organ Donation/Immunosuppressive Drugs [SPCC]
GENERAL BILL by Oelrich
Organ Donation/Immunosuppressive Drugs [SPCC]; Prohibits a pharmacist from dispensing an immunosuppressive drug following an organ transplant which is not the specific formulation or manufactured by the specific manufacturer as prescribed by the practitioner. Authorizes a pharmacist to substitute a drug product that is generically equivalent to the prescribed drug only upon obtaining authorization from the prescribing practitioner, etc.
