SB 238: Charter Schools

GENERAL BILL by Wise

Charter Schools; Provides for the extension of Deferred Retirement Option Program (DROP) beyond 60 months to up to 96 calendar months for certain charter school instructional personnel in grades prekindergarten through 12. Provides that eligibility for participation requires authorization from the governing board of the school. Authorizes charter school instructional personnel employed in grades prekindergarten through 12 to participate in the DROP extension, etc.
