SB 2538: Teacher Retention [SPCC]

GENERAL BILL by Deutch ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Crist

Teacher Retention [SPCC]; Requires that graduates of teacher preparation programs demonstrate the competencies specified in the educator-accomplished practices adopted by the State Board of Education. Requires that a postsecondary educator preparation institute guarantee the high quality of its graduates. Requires that the school report card that is delivered to parents throughout each school district include the district's teacher turnover rate, etc.
