SB 2068: Alternative Energy Facilities [EPSC]
GENERAL BILL by Haridopolos
Alternative Energy Facilities [EPSC]; Provides that the construction and operation of a biofuel processing facility or a renewable energy generating facility and the cultivation and production of bioenergy constitutes a valid industrial and agricultural use for purposes of any local zoning regulation. Requires that a permit for the use of water for cultivating agricultural products and renewable energy be granted for a specified number of years if certain conditions are met, etc.
Effective Date: Upon becoming law
