GENERAL BILL by Garcia

Mental Health [SPSC]; Revises part I of ch. 394, F.S., relating to the Florida Mental Health Act, to substitute the term "individual" for the terms "person," "patient," or "client." Deletes certain background screening requirements and exemptions for certain mental health professionals. Requires physical examinations and psychiatric evaluations to be documented in the clinical record. Requires a minor's assent to voluntary admission, etc.
