GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Wise

Juvenile Justice [SPSC]; Requires the DJJ to establish the Juvenile Justice Policy Research Institute within the DJJ for specified purposes. Encourages law enforcement agencies, school districts, counties, municipalities and the DJJ to establish prearrest or postarrest diversion programs for first-time misdemeanor offenders who are 9 years of age or younger. Requires that certain juvenile justice programs offer vocational training, etc.
