SB 2468: Asbestos and Silica Claims [SPSC]
GENERAL BILL by Villalobos
Asbestos and Silica Claims [SPSC]; Revises the purpose of the Asbestos and Silica Compensation Fairness Act. Provides that physical impairment or death is an essential element of an asbestos or silica claim. Revises the requirements of a prima facie showing of physical impairment or death as a result of a medical condition to which exposure to asbestos was a contributing factor. Revises requirements for bringing a civil action alleging such claim in the courts of this state, etc.
