GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice ; Baker

Juvenile Justice [SPSC]; Eliminates the Juvenile Justice Standards and Training Commission. Provides that the Department of Juvenile Justice rather than the commission is responsible for staff development and training. Details the minimum qualifications for department program staff of the department and contract providers who deliver direct-care services to children. Conforms a provision to the termination of the Juvenile Justice Standards and Training Commission.
