GENERAL BILL by Perman
Background Screening; Prohibits person from being disqualified from employment providing personal treatment, counseling, or other services to persons who have been convicted of criminal offense solely on basis of inability to qualify due to prior criminal history; provides that certain persons with criminal record who are employed or apply for employment to provide specified services to persons who have been convicted of criminal offense may apply for exemption from disqualification from employment without being subject to otherwise applicable waiting period.
