GENERAL BILL by Garcia
Enterprise Zones; Citing this act as the "Urban Job Creation Investment Act"; creating the Florida Urban Investment Job Creation Authority; creating a zone development corporation for each enterprise program zone; providing for the designation of enterprise program zones; authorizing the authority to periodically amend the boundary of an enterprise program zone; specifying the qualifications for businesses to receive state enterprise program zone incentives; authorizing certain tax credits, exemptions from unemployment contributions, and other state incentives for qualified businesses; authorizing certain tax credits against the sales tax and corporate income tax for qualified businesses located in enterprise program zones; exempting wages paid by qualified businesses to certain employees from unemployment contributions, etc.
