SB 1662: Workers’ Compensation

Workers’ Compensation; Prohibiting an employer or carrier from refusing to authorize a health care provider to treat an injured employee solely because the health care provider is also the dispensing practitioner; prohibiting the Department of Financial Services, an employer, or carrier from requiring the injured employee to use a specified pharmacy, pharmacist, or dispensing practitioner; prohibiting a physician or the physician’s assignee from holding an ownership interest in a licensed pharmaceutical repackaging entity or to set or cause to be set a repackaged pharmaceutical average wholesale price, etc.
