GENERAL BILL by Transportation ; Health Policy ; Grimsley

Department of Health; Authorizing the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to provide reproductions of specified records to the Department of Health under certain circumstances; specifying the notification and consent procedures for performing an HIV test in a health care setting and a nonhealth care setting; clarifying duties of the Department of Health to maintain the confidentiality of patient records that it obtains under subpoena pursuant to an investigation; authorizing licensees under investigation to inspect or receive copies of patient records connected with the investigation, subject to certain conditions, etc.
