GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice Subcommittee ; Waldman
Child-on-Child Sexual Abuse; Replaces definition of term "alleged juvenile sexual offender" with definition of term "juvenile sexual abuse"; deletes age requirement from definition of term "child who has exhibited inappropriate sexual behavior"; requires reports involving juvenile sexual abuse or child who has exhibited inappropriate sexual behavior to be reported to DCF's central abuse hotline; provides duties concerning such reports; deletes provisions concerning reports about children over certain age; requires DCF to ensure that information describing child's history of juvenile sexual abuse is included in child's electronic record; requires placement decisions to include certain considerations.
