GENERAL BILL by Simmons

Correctional Work Programs; Repealing provisions of part II of ch. 946, F.S., relating to leased or managed work programs and the authorization of a certain nonprofit corporation to operate correctional work programs using buildings and land leased by the Department of Corrections; authorizing the department to contract with the private sector to establish a prison industry enhancement (PIE) program; creating the Prison Industry Board of Directors, etc.
