GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Community Affairs ; Regulated Industries ; Perry

Building-related Contracting; Revising eligibility requirements for the examination for certification as a building code inspector or plans examiner to include an internship certification program; authorizing specified entities to contract for the provision of building code administrator and building official services; specifying that provisions regulating certified electrical contractors and certified alarm system contractors do not prevent such contractors from acting as a prime contractor or from subcontracting work to other licensed contractors under certain circumstances, etc.
