Surrendered Newborn Infants; Revising the definition of the term “newborn infant”; authorizing certain hospitals, emergency medical services stations, and fire stations to use newborn infant safety devices to accept surrendered newborn infants if the device meets specified criteria; authorizing a parent to leave a newborn infant with medical staff or a licensed health care professional at a hospital after the delivery of the newborn infant under certain circumstances, etc.
