GENERAL BILL by Thompson ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Berman ; Osgood ; Polsky ; Jones ; Stewart ; Powell ; Torres ; Davis ; Rouson ; Book ; Pizzo

Elections; Requiring that the Secretary of State be elected rather than appointed and serve a specified term; requiring the Florida Commission on Offender Review to develop and maintain a database for a specified purpose; repealing provisions relating to the Office of Election Crimes and Security; authorizing a person who meets certain requirements to register to vote at an early voting site or at his or her polling place and to immediately thereafter cast a ballot; authorizing the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles to preregister certain individuals to vote; prohibiting local governments, state agencies, and state officials from implementing or enforcing actions that result in, will result in, or are intended to result in specified disparities or impairments, etc.
