SB 492: Mitigation Banking

GENERAL BILL by McClain

Mitigation Banking; Revising the schedule to which the Department of Environmental Protection and water management districts are required to adhere for the release of credits awarded by a mitigation bank permit; prohibiting the release of mitigation credits for freshwater wetland creation until certain criteria are met; authorizing certain projects or activities to use credits released from a bank to offset impacts if certain requirements are met, etc.
