Impaired and learning disabled persons; admission to postsecondary institutions; substitute requirements; rules.
240.152 Impaired and learning disabled persons; admission to postsecondary institutions; substitute requirements; rules.--Any person who is hearing impaired, visually impaired, or dyslexic, or who has a specific learning disability, shall be eligible for reasonable substitution for any requirement for admission to a state university, community college, or 1degree career education institution where documentation can be provided that the person's failure to meet the admission requirement is related to the disability. The State Board of Education, the Board of Regents, and the State Board of Community Colleges shall adopt rules to implement this section and shall develop substitute admission requirements where appropriate.
