2018 Florida Statutes
Student enrollment pilot program for the spring and summer terms.
A. Section 12, ch. 2018-10, amended subsection (3) “[i]n order to implement Specific Appropriations 4 and 66D of the 2018-2019 General Appropriations Act.”
B. Section 13, ch. 2018-10, provides that “[t]he text of s. 1009.215(3), Florida Statutes, expires July 1, 2019, and the text of that subsection shall revert to that in existence on June 30, 2018, except that any amendments to such text enacted other than by this act shall be preserved and continue to operate to the extent that such amendments are not dependent upon the portions of text which expire pursuant to this section.” Effective July 1, 2019, subsection (3), as amended by s. 13, ch. 2018-10, will read:
(3) Students who are enrolled in the pilot program and who are eligible to receive Bright Futures Scholarships under ss. 1009.53-1009.536 shall be eligible to receive the scholarship award for attendance during no more than 2 semesters or the equivalent in any fiscal year, including the summer term.
