1626.97411  Public records exemption for the Office of Insurance Regulation.--Credit scoring methodologies and related data and information that are trade secrets as defined in s. 688.002 and that are filed with the Office of Insurance Regulation pursuant to a rate filing or other filing required by law are confidential and exempt from the provisions of s. 119.07(1) and s. 24(a), Art. I of the State Constitution.

1Note.--Section 2, ch. 2003-408, provides that "[s]ection 627.9742, Florida Statutes, is subject to the Open Government Sunset Review Act of 1995 in accordance with section 119.15, Florida Statutes, and shall stand repealed on October 2, 2008, unless reviewed and saved from repeal through reenactment by the Legislature." Section 627.9742, as created by s. 1, ch. 2003-408, was renumbered as s. 626.97411 by the reviser to place it near s. 626.9741, the companion section created by s. 3, ch. 2003-407.
