CS/SB 1402: Elections

GENERAL BILL by Executive Business, Ethics and Elections ; Latvala ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Silver ; Lee ; Clary ; Bronson ; Childers ; Meadows

Elections; provides additional duty of Secretary of State; requires supervisors of elections to notify property appraisers of voters who are registered at address other than voters homestead address; revises definition of absent elector; requires photo ID to vote at polls; revises methods of delivery of absentee ballots; provides that persons who are preregistered to vote may serve on election boards, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $4,000,000.

Effective Date: 07/01/1998 except as otherwise provided
