SB 1832: Title Insurance

GENERAL BILL by Campbell

Title Insurance; deletes tax on risk premiums for title insurance; modifies definition of title insurance agent & title insurance agency; authorizes title insurance agencies to engage in business as escrow agent; provides that, for purposes of determining unlawful rebates, both title insurance agent's & title insurer's share of premium is considered charge made incident to issuance of such insurance, etc. Amends Chs. 626, 627, 624.509.
