GENERAL BILL by Health Care Standards & Regulatory Reform ; Hill ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Tamargo
Health Quality Assurance; amends provision re Drug-Free Workplace Act to authorize use of certain body hair for drug testing; revises definitions to reflect transfer of regulatory authority re birth centers from HRS Dept. to AHCA; requires background screening for applicants for licensure of certain entities that provide health care services; provides for applicability of background screening requirements, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $127,609.
