HB 1655: Workplace Regulation

GENERAL BILL by Clarke

Workplace Regulation; transfers Workers' Compensation Division from LES Dept. to Insurance Dept.; transfers various functions, powers, duties, personnel, & assets re workers' compensation to DOE, AHCA, & Insurance Dept.; provides for certain employees of Division to be given hiring priority by DOI; provides pay & employment guidelines for such employees; creates Workers' Compensation Division in DOI, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: 10/01/2001 except as otherwise provided
