GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Education ; Pruitt ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Horne ; Lawson

Education Governance Reorganization; provides process for authorizing community colleges to offer baccalaureate degree programs; adds to State University System the New College in Sarasota; creates fiscally autonomous campuses of Univ. of South Florida; redesignates St. Petersburg Junior College as "St. Petersburg College"; abolishes Board of Regents, State Board of Community Colleges, & Postsecondary Education Planning Commission, etc. Amends FS.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
