CS/SB 2172: School Advisory Councils

GENERAL BILL by Education ; Brown-Waite

School Advisory Councils; requires school advisory councils to adopt bylaws; requires that bylaws include procedures for establishing quorum, requiring notice of meetings, & replacing members; requires district school board to annually review & approve proposed bylaws; authorizes demonstration program to be called Learning Gateway; creates steering committee; authorizes demonstration projects in specified counties, etc. Amends 229.58.
