CS/CS/SB 700: Children & Family Services Dept.

GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Children and Families ; Lynn ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Peaden ; Wise ; Bullard

Children & Family Services Dept.; creates Fla. Substance Abuse & Mental Health Board, Inc., which shall be administratively housed within CFS Dept.; directs other agencies to cooperate in development of evaluation & report; authorizes CFS Dept. to adopt by rule new payment methodologies & to eliminate unit-based methodologies for mental health & substance abuse services; establishes data system requirements, etc. Amends Ch. 394, 20.19, 409.912. APPROPRIATION: $250,000.

Effective Date: Upon becoming law except as otherwise provided
