CS/SB 1210: Term Limits for Legislative Office

JOINT RESOLUTION by Ethics and Elections ; Sebesta ; Clary

Term Limits for Legislative Office; (THIS BILL COMBINES S1210 & 1362) constitutional amendment to increase from 8 consecutive years to 12 consecutive years time person may serve in office of state senator or state representative before becoming disqualified to appear on ballot for reelection, with such increase applicable to persons whose consecutive years of office begin in November 2006 or thereafter, etc. Amends s. 4, Art. VI; creates s. 26, Art. XII.
