CS/CS/SB 1220: Electronic Monitoring

GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Criminal Justice ; Wise ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Fasano ; Crist ; Baker

Electronic Monitoring; authorizes bail bond agents to be vendors of electronic monitoring services; authorizes said agents to contract with third-party vendors to provide such monitoring of pretrial releases in certain circumstances; provides for electronic monitoring of persons on pretrial release; allows private vendors to provide electronic monitoring of offenders subject to community control or probation, etc. Amends 648.387, 948.039,.11; creates 903.135, 907.06-09.
