CS/SB 2566: Negligence
GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Webster ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) King ; Clary ; Lynn
Negligence; provides that if person slips & falls on transitory foreign substance in retail establishment, injured person must prove that said establishment had knowledge of condition in that condition existed for sufficient time for said establishment to have taken action to remedy condition; provides legislative intent re business parking lot security, etc. Creates 768.0755, 812.18; repeals 768.0710.
