GENERAL BILL by Commerce and Consumer Services ; Wise

Career & Professional Academies; defines "career & professional academy"; authorizes an academy to be offered as described small learning community; requires DOE to establish Career High-Skill Occupational Initiative for Career Education (CHOICE) project as competitive process for designation of school district participants & CHOICE academies; provides for award to school district participants in CHOICE project of startup funds for development of CHOICE academies, etc. Amends FS.
