CS/HB 1505: Domestic Violence

GENERAL BILL by Mealor

Domestic Violence; provides for law enforcement officers to obtain verbal emergency protection orders at request of victim immediately following incidents of said violence; requires that certain employers permit employee to take leave from work, with or without pay, to undertake activities resulting from act of said violence; prohibits employer from taking certain actions against employee for exercising rights specified in act, etc. Amends 741.30,.313, 943.1702.
