JOINT RESOLUTION by Finance and Tax ; Atwater ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Storms ; Deutch ; Haridopolos ; Geller ; Baker

Ad Valorem Taxation/Tangible Personal Property [FPCC]; constitutional amendment to authorize, by general law, exemption from ad valorem taxation of up to $25,000 of assessed value on each tangible personal property tax return & to schedule amendment to take effect on January 1, 2009; to provide that assessed value of new homestead must equal or exceed assessed value of previous homestead, etc. Amends ss. 3, 4, 6, Art. VII; creates new section, Art. XII.
