SB 1248: Public K-12 Education [SPSC]
GENERAL BILL by Wise
Public K-12 Education [SPSC]; Deletes a provision that requires a public school principal to collect 50 to 75 percent of a textbook's purchase price from a student who has lost, destroyed, or damaged a textbook that has been in use for more than 1 year. Requires the DOE to encourage school districts to initiate, adopt, expand, and institutionalize service learning programs, activities, and policies in kindergarten through grade 12, etc.
