GENERAL BILL by Peaden
Diabetes/Treatment of Students [SPSC]; Requires the development of a diabetes management and treatment plan and provides requirements for the plan. Requires the school nurse and principal, in collaboration with the parent or guardian, to develop an individualized health plan for a student who has diabetes and provides requirements for the plan. Requires a school principal to obtain the services of an unlicensed diabetes care assistant in the school and supervise the assistant, etc.
