GENERAL BILL by Judiciary ; Smith
Motor Vehicle Title Transfer [CPSC]; Revises provisions for limitation of liability for the operation of a motor vehicle that has been sold or transferred. Requires an owner or coowner who has made a sale or transfer of a motor vehicle to notify the Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles. Provides that failure to obtain the identification card number on a derelict vehicle certificate application is a third-degree felony, etc.
