SB 446: Dentistry and Dental Hygiene

GENERAL BILL by Hays ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Sobel ; Gaetz

Dentistry and Dental Hygiene; Revises the locations at which dental hygienists may perform dental charting. Authorizing dental hygienists to perform certain duties without supervision or authorization by a dentist. Provides exceptions. Requires that dental hygienists in a health access setting provide a certain disclaimer to patients before a procedure is performed. Provides that a health access setting may bill for certain services, etc.
