GENERAL BILL by Criminal Justice

Corrections; Requiring the Criminal Justice Estimating Conference to develop projections of prison admissions and populations for elderly felony offenders; revising the definition of “victim injury” by removing a prohibition on assessing certain victim injury sentence points for sexual misconduct by an employee of the Department of Corrections or a private correctional facility with an inmate or an offender supervised by the department; expanding applicability of a current felony offense to include employees of private providers and private correctional facilities, etc.
