SB 1718: Harm to Minors
GENERAL BILL by Ingoglia
Harm to Minors; Citing this act as the “Protect Our Children Act”; requiring manufacturers of tablets or smartphones to manufacture, beginning on a specified date, such devices so that a filter meeting certain requirements is enabled upon activation of the device in this state; authorizing the Attorney General to enjoin or bring certain actions, issue subpoenas, conduct hearings, and seek revocation of applicable licenses or certificates; increasing criminal penalties for adults who intentionally lure or entice, or who attempt to lure or entice, children under the age of 12 into a structure, dwelling, or conveyance for other than a lawful purpose, etc.
