Safety issues in courses offered by public postsecondary educational institutions.

(1)

The State Board of Education shall adopt rules to ensure that policies and procedures are in place to protect the health and safety of students, instructional personnel, and visitors who participate in courses offered by a 1community college.

(2)

The Board of Governors shall adopt regulations to ensure that policies and procedures are in place to protect the health and safety of students, instructional personnel, and visitors who participate in courses offered by a state university.

(3)

Such policies and procedures shall be guided by industry standards for practices in the course content area and shall conform with all related and relevant state and federal health and safety requirements.
