CS/CS/SB 1406: Workers' Compensation

GENERAL BILL by Ways and Means ; Banking and Insurance ; Clary

Workers' Compensation; authorizes Workers' Compensation Division of LES Dept. to approve & revoke certificates of exemption; revises documentation that must be filed by employer that obtains building permit; requires carriers to notify division whether certain policies are minimum premium policies; provides statute of limitations for certain insurance fraud violations, etc. Amends Ch. 440, 626.989, 627.413, 775.15.

Effective Date: 01/01/1999 except as otherwise provided
