CS/SB 466: Public Employment
GENERAL BILL by Governmental Oversight and Productivity ; Garcia ; (CO-INTRODUCERS) Sanderson ; Bronson ; Sebesta
Public Employment; eliminates provisions requiring that inspector general position in DOT be within Career Service System; eliminates meritorious service awards program; revises positions that are exempt from Career Service System & provides additional exempt positions; prohibits "bumping"; provides requirements re implementation of layoffs & revises application of existing provisions prescribing layoff procedures, etc. Amends FS. APPROPRIATION: $21,400,000.
