GENERAL BILL by Appropriations ; Education ; Villalobos
Education Governance; authorizes State Board of Education to adopt rules re child abuse prevention training; provides for said board to adopt rules & procedures re educational benefits provisions for officers & firefighters killed in line of duty; provides that public education is function of state; creates "Education Investment Act"; requires school districts to develop plan for foreign-language curriculum, etc. Amends FS.
