CS/SB 2022: Independent Postsecondary Education

GENERAL BILL by Education ; Villalobos

Independent Postsecondary Education; eliminates references to nonpublic colleges in provisions stating legislative findings & intent; restricts participation in statewide course numbering system to institutions that provide resident instruction; creates Commission for Independent Education within DOE; provides for licensure of institutions; provides requirements for students of foreign medical schools; requires antihazing policies, etc. Amends Ch. 246.
