CS/CS/CS/SB 502: Transportation Department
GENERAL BILL by Finance and Taxation ; Governmental Oversight and Productivity ; Transportation ; Sebesta
Transportation Department; transfers Toll Operations Ofc. to turnpike enterprise; redesignates turnpike district as turnpike enterprise; prohibits DOT from exercising its powers of eminent domain solely to acquire property for business opportunities on Fla. Turnpike; creates "Florida High-Speed Rail Authority Act"; authorizes authority to purchase, lease, exchange, or acquire land, property, or buildings necessary to secure or utilize rights-of-way, etc. Amends FS.
